Copy Cut-Ups Printing and Design

Copy Cut-Ups is a commercial printing business right here on Columbus Air Force Base. It offers a wide variety of printed products from copies, business cards, invitations, announcements, printed envelopes, memo pads, church programs, wedding programs and much more. If you don’t see it…just ask!

BUSINESS CARDS

Your business card is the ultimate communications tool. You can carry it, drop it or post it anywhere. Potentially and hopefully thousands of people will see it. With so many first impressions at stake, you'll want to keep these design basics in mind: 

  • Font. The font you choose will add as much to your image as any graphic. Serif fonts like Times Roman are more reserved. Sans serif fonts such as Helvetica are more contemporary. Different script fonts can add formal or artistic flair, but they slow reader comprehension. 

  • Paper. The sturdy cover stock professional printers use is 80 lb. The heaviest stock a desktop printer will take is 65 lb. Some 65-lb. stock is pre-perforated to separate easily into 10 business cards. This is convenient if you want to print your own cards, but the cards' edges will not be completely smooth. 

  • Layout. Vertical layouts are less common than horizontal ones, so they can draw more attention. But if your name, email address or Web site URL is long, this option may not be feasible. 

INVITATIONS

Whether your special event is a rehearsal dinner, bat or bar mitzvah, anniversary, or birthday, your invitation should set the mood and convey how you feel. Copy cut-ups can help you choose one of our many designs that will best express the nature of your occasion.

Artwork
Artwork is a term applied to any typesetting or layout work done. If camera-ready artwork is provided or a reorder is placed with NO changes, there will be no art charge involved. Typesetting and layout fees are $15 per hour.

Turnaround time
The average turnaround time for work is 3-5 working days. Some orders that require ordering special supplies may take longer. If work is needed on same day or next day or next day, a 20% RUSH fee will be charged

Payment
Payment is due upon pickup. Jobs requiring the ordering of special papers may require a deposit at the time the order is placed. In addition to cash or checks, we accept VISA or MasterCard and of course, the “Services” MasterCard.
